Are you open to the Public?

H&H Ranch specializes in corporate events and family reunions.  We are not open to the public. Please contact our Director of Sales to make your reservation.
 

What size groups can you accommodate?

A 50 adult minimum (or the equivalent minimum expenditure) is required to reserve a space at H&H Ranch for all events except  Birthday Parties. Each pavilion has its own adult minimum required depending on the size of the pavilion. We can accommodate groups as large as 4000 and everything in between.

 

Can I bring my pet?

Pets of any size are not allowed on the grounds of H&H Ranch.

 

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

Typically no outside food or beverages are allowed to be brought on property with the exception of birthday cakes for events that have received written consent in advance.  We are now offering limited dates  throughout the year, typically on Sundays, when outside food will be allowed to be brought on property.
It is unlawful to bring alcohol of any kind on property due to our liquor license. 


What type of food do you offer?
Our basic picnic package comes with a Brisket & Sausage BBQ meal served with beans, potato salad, cole slaw, bread, relishes, cookies and iced tea.  Ribs and chicken may also be added to the BBQ meal. We also offer other menu options including fried on-site catfish, fajitas, grilled on-site steaks and many other options.
   The meal is served buffet style and is one generous plate per person.  The host of the event selects the time for the buffet to begin and is usually served for one hour depending on the size of your group.
   We also offer smaller meal options with discounted prices for school events.


Do you have beer available?
You may add beer by the can, kegs of beer, wine, frozen margaritas & daiquiris and mixed drinks to your picnic event.  We also have a full cash bar set up the park grounds where your guests of legal drinking age will be able to pay for their drinks individually.

 

Can we play golf before our event?

Advance tee times can be arranged through your event coordinator for an additional cost. Typically tee times are set up early in the morning so your guests will finish their round before your picnic begins.

 

Do you host golf outings?

World Houston Golf Course is the ideal location to host your company or fund raising outing. Our tournament coordinator can help you plan your golf outing from 12 players up to 144 players.

 

What are your rules for the lazy river?

Swimming suits are required for all guests entering the lazy river.  No street clothes of any kind are permitted in the water.  Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Swimmers must obey the rules of the lifeguards at all times.

 

Are bicycles allowed?

For the safety of our guests no bicycles or skateboards are allowed on property.

Do you have an indoor, climate controlled facility?
Our  Event Center is available for all types of business and social events for groups up to 250 guests. The room features dark wood floors and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course. The Ranch Style architecture is an ideal location for events looking for a Texas theme.


Do you host wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners?
With over 30 years of experience coordinating weddings our staff will help you plan your big day down to the smallest detail.

 

How much in advance do I need to book my event?

Our event spaces are booked on a first come first served basis. Events may not be booked more than one year in advance but many are booked 12 months in advance.

 

Is a deposit required to book an event and when is the final payment due?

A non-refundable deposit of $10.00 per minimum adult guaranteed is required to reserve your space. For example; if you reserve the Cottonwood Landing Pavilion that has a 150 adult minimum required then your deposit is $1500.00. This non-refundable deposit will be applied to the total cost of your event. The remaining balance will be due the Monday before your event (for weekend events). H&H Ranch accepts credit cards, cashier checks and money orders for family reunions. Corporate events may also pay with a company check. All corporate events must keep a credit card guaranty on file.

 

When is my final guest count due?

Your contract will have the specific date your final count is due. Typically for weekend events it is the Monday before your event. The attendance figure you provide by that date will not be subject to reduction. Your final attendance figure may not be lower than the adult minimum guaranteed on the contract. 

Can I host a child's birthday party at H&H Ranch?

We offer a discounted rate for birthday parties at H&H Ranch on weekends depending on availability.  Reservations for birthday parties are accepted on a first come first served basis no more than 30 days prior to your desired date. The price is $15.00 per person and includes our kiddie area concessions: Soft drinks, lemonade and popcorn all day and hot dogs 2:00 - 4:00 pm as well as full use of the park.  Brisket sandwiches with chips can be added to your birthday party for an additional $3.00 per person. A 20 person minimum (ages 3+) and a $100.00 deposit are required to reserve your date.  

Do you charge a room fee?
Our indoor event center has a food and beverage minimum to be met before tax that varies depending on the date and time of the event. If this minimum is reached or exceeded no additional room fee will apply.  H&H Ranch does not charge gratuity - this can add up to a very significant savings.

What is included with the room?
The room will be set per your guest count with round tables and chairs. White tablecloths and napkins are included. Specialty linens may be arranged for with additional charges.

What is your seating capacity?
Up to two-hundred guests can be seated in the room at round tables of ten. Additional guests can be accomodated with a heavy hors d'oeuvres menu with cocktail seating.

Do you have a ceremony site?
We offer several outdoor ceremony sites but we do not have an indoor ceremony option in the event of inclement weather.

Can I provide my own liquor?
H&H Ranch has a full liquor license making it unlawful to bring outside alcohol on property.

Can I provide my own food?
Prior written authorization from the management is required for any outside food to be brought on property. Additional fees may apply. Ask your event coordinator for details.

Do you offer sit down or buffets for lunch and dinner?
Our menus have several full buffet and heavy hors d'oeuvres options from which you are welcome to choose.
